Pickled Celery

Ingredients:

4 stalks celery
-
1 Tbsp salt
-
3 cups pickling brine
Pickling Brine:
-
1 cup water
-
1 cup sugar
-
2 cups cider vinegar
-
1 bay leaf
-
2 whole cloves
-
1 tsp coriander seeds
-
½ tsp allspice berries
Procedure:

Slice celery and add to 2 mason jars.

Add all other ingredients to a saucepan, bring to a boil, and remove from heat.

Pour liquid over the celery in the mason jars.
-
Seal lids and refrigerate.
-
Best after 3 days; use within 1 month.
